Classic equestrian style and English country charm took on a fresh, modern spirit in this Stonewater home. Our clients have been around horses since childhood, and they love furniture with formality and craftsmanship. Our goal was to balance those traditional influences with a clean, pared-back palette of white walls and soft neutrals, so the home would stay bright, open and calm.
We started in the foyer and carried the design through the dining room, kitchen and living room. In the living room, we reimagined the fireplace wall as the home's focal point. Arched display niches lined in white oak shiplap now flank a custom mantel, handmade zellige tile and an extended natural stone hearth. Brass sconces above each arch highlight the clients' favorite pieces.
Throughout the home, a thoughtful refresh brought everything together. We repainted the kitchen cabinets, installed a new backsplash, updated select doors and replaced the light fixtures with warm brass finishes. Light oak floors keep the backdrop airy, while mid tones add depth. Rich mahogany-toned furnishings bring contrast and a quiet sense of elegance. In the dining room, muted pastels bring in gentle color without breaking the calm. The finished home feels tailored, serene and effortlessly refined.
